Last year while my husband was jogging he was attacked and had part of his calf
ripped off by an Australian Cattle Dog who was being walked by his owner along
with another similar sized black dog. Instead of rendering aid to my husband he
ran away and hid like a coward until I found out who he was and turned him in to
animal control. The dog was quarantined because he did not have his rabies
shots. The police department and animal control did not do their job concerning
this matter. I guess they let the owner have him back and now the dog is still
being walked by the Southside School in the same manner as when he bit my
husband. The man wears earphones which makes it impossible to hear if someone
is approaching him and has 2 dogs to handle. This man is a very irresponsible
pet owner. He should at least have the dog muzzled after what he did. Don't be
fooled by the stature of this dog. This is a dangerous animal. They have
extemely powerful jaws. They are the number one biters in Australia, similar to
a pit bull in nature. They are very unpredictable and are even bred from a wild
dog , the Dingo. If you see this man who is tall and thin and wears earphones
walking two dogs, one an Aussie, stay away. This dog has already attacked and
it's just a matter of time before he does it again when given the opportunity.
Don't end up with part of your leg bitten off like my husband did.

The Australian cattle dog stands out as a really nasty breed. It’s more than 12 times more likely to attack than a Labrador Retriever. Having said that, the Australian Cattle Dog and the Siberian Husky both stand out as dangerous breeds
