I hope this is o.k. to post -trying to help a new friend in a somewhat difficult situation. We met Barbara on Thanksgiving day and she is delightful; helpful, calm, really nice lady. She is new to the area working with the VA and the current living situation with a friend has gone south with no heat. She needs a pet-friendly rental - temporary or long term, apt. or room. "Mature female, VA employee, small dog and cat. Needs apt or room to rent immediately." We are fairly new to the area ourselves, so don't know any "inside scoop" or which 'for rent' places would work for her, or if there is a possible private situation out there.
