A New Year, a new Mill Update! Evolve has a completely new plan for the Mill...and unfortunately it does not include any commercial development as we had hoped and voted to support at our November meeting. Please join us Thursday, January 9th, 7pm at the Holston Conference Center- 210 West Maple Street. The Chamber of Commerce now seeks to rezone the property AND seeks a BZA variance for a different matter entirely. There will be a Power Point presentation by Evolve's Scott Austin and a follow up question and answer session with Amber Lee, South Side's Housing and Community Development representative. We believe some Board of Zoning Appeal members and City Commissioners will be in attendance as well.
